For professionals

Referral information

Thank you for considering us. Below is what we treat, how referrals are processed, and what you can expect back.

Presentations we accept

  • Fine and gross motor development
  • Sensory processing and regulation
  • Self-care and daily living skills
  • Play and social participation
  • School readiness and classroom participation
  • Handwriting and fine motor school demands
  • Functional capacity assessment for NDIS planning
  • Assistive technology and equipment prescription

Where a referral falls outside our scope or capacity, we will say so promptly and, where we can, suggest an alternative rather than hold the referral.

The referral process

  1. Send the referral

Email, fax or phone. We accept referrals in any format — a letter, a plan, or a phone call.

  2. We triage within two business days

You will hear back with an indicative wait time and confirmation of fit.

  3. We contact the family directly

So the referral does not stall waiting for someone to chase it.

  4. You receive an outcome letter

After initial assessment, with recommendations and a proposed intervention plan.

Reporting

Goal progress is documented against the participant's plan, with strengths-based language throughout and clear recommendations for the next plan period. Reports are written to be usable by the person who has to act on them — a planner, a teacher, or a family — rather than as a catalogue of scores.
