Occupational therapy for children in Sydenham, Taylors Lakes and the Keilor growth corridor

This corridor is the newest addition to our service area, added at the practice owner's request to reach the growth suburbs north-west of Keilor — Keilor Downs and Keilor Lodge out through Delahey, Hillside, Taylors Lakes, Taylors Hill and Sydenham, plus Calder Park, Cairnlea, Deer Park, Ardeer and Burnside Heights in between. Newer estates mean newer housing stock, bigger blocks and, often, a double garage that doubles as the best gross-motor space in the house.

It is a longer drive from the rest of our week — Sydenham is the better part of half an hour from our other patches — so we run it as its own dedicated day rather than trying to bolt it onto the Keilor–Travancore ribbon. That keeps the appointment consistent week to week, which matters more than shaving a few minutes off any single visit.

Families out this way tend to be juggling long commutes alongside school and kinder routines, which makes telehealth a natural fit for parent coaching and review sessions — the hands-on work happens on the dedicated day, and the check-ins happen over video without anyone needing to be home for a visit.
